Poreč is a city that has existed for two thousand years and has no intention of rushing anywhere. The 6th-century Euphrasian Basilica, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, stands two hundred metres from the beach. The Roman cardo cuts straight through the old town. The Adriatic laps at the very walls. Here you don’t have to choose between history and the sea — they exist side by side, within easy walking distance.
Getting to Poreč, however, is not straightforward. No direct flights. The nearest airports — Pula, Venice and Treviso — are one to two hours away. Buses exist, but require connections, patience and a tolerance for the unexpected.
We bring you to Poreč directly. From any airport in the region, from Italian cities, from the Slovenian coast, from mountain resorts. No connections, no surprises.
The route to Poreč almost always crosses several borders. From Venice — through Slovenia or directly along the coast. From Ljubljana — through Croatia. Different customs rules, different document requirements for travelling with children, different restricted access zones in coastal towns.
Our drivers speak English. You don’t switch languages at the border barrier, don’t explain the route with hand gestures, don’t figure out on your own which document to show at the Croatian crossing. Poreč’s old town is a pedestrianised peninsula: apartments are tucked into medieval courtyards, hotels sit on the waterfront where there are no road signs and no through traffic.
The driver knows how to get there. You simply give the address.
Poreč is not a short trip. From Venice — around three hours, from Ljubljana — just over two, from Trieste — a little more than one. From Milan — nearly five. The journey should feel like part of the holiday, not a trial run before it.
Business class saloons. For those travelling in pairs or threes who value quiet, smooth riding and space. Seats that don’t strain your back over three hours, climate control, no unnecessary conversation.
Minivans. Family with children, suitcases, a pushchair, a beach bag the size of a small trunk — everything fits without compromise. Five or six people in comfort instead of two cars with different drivers arriving at different times.
Minibuses. Groups of friends, tourist parties, corporate trips to Istria. One vehicle, one route, one price — and nobody gets lost at the border.
All vehicles are recent models, no more than two years old. Air conditioning, stable Wi-Fi, a clean and well-kept interior. The drive along the Istrian coast is beautiful — you’ll want to look out of the window, not count the minutes.
Child seats. Croatia strictly enforces European child transport regulations. Our seat is correctly fitted and waiting in the car — there’s no point hauling your own across three countries.
Sports and activity equipment. Poreč is a base for water sports and active holidays: windsurfing, diving, kayaking, cycling across Istria. People arrive with gear. We secure bikes on an external rack and load oversized equipment at no extra charge, no negotiation.
Stops along the route. Truffles in Motovun, Malvasia wine in the Poreč valley, the viewpoint above Lim Bay — the drive through inland Istria is worth taking slowly. The driver stops wherever you ask.
Official licence, insurance, permits for international transfers through Slovenia, Italy and Croatia. Not an unlicensed private driver — a registered carrier with full documentation for every route.
If your flight is delayed — the car waits at no extra charge. If plans change the day before — we reschedule with no penalty. Drivers know the border crossings on every approach to Poreč, the peak congestion hours in summer and the routes that bypass the queues.
We take the real taxi fare for your route on the day of travel and apply a 10% discount. The price is locked in at booking — no traffic jam, no border wait, no child seat will change it. No meter running, no “luggage surcharge,” no awkward conversation about money when you step out of the car.
Payment in euros, cash or bank transfer.

Families with children. Poreč is one of Croatia’s finest family resorts: gently sloping beaches, well-equipped facilities, a waterpark, children’s clubs in the hotels. Getting there with children should be just as relaxed as the holiday itself. Child seat, spacious minivan, patient driver — all included.
History and architecture lovers. The Euphrasian Basilica is one of the best-preserved early Christian churches in the world. Coming to Poreč only for the sea and not stepping inside would be to miss the point entirely. We’ll get you there with time to spare.
Active travellers. Windsurfing, diving, cycling across Istria, kayaking in Lim Fjord — bring your gear, we’ll take it with us.
Food and wine travellers. Istrian cuisine — truffles, pašticada, fresh fish, olive oil — ranks among the finest in Europe. On the way to Poreč you can stop where it’s all produced.
Groups. One minibus for the whole party — that’s order, savings and the confidence that everyone arrived at the same hotel at the same time.
You submit a request. We send you an exact price with no hidden conditions. The day before your trip you receive the car’s plate number and the driver’s contact. At the agreed time he is at your door, helps with luggage and drives you straight to Poreč — across the borders, along the Istrian coast, to the right address.
The Euphrasian Basilica opens in the morning. Lim Bay is at its best at sunset. The truffle market runs at dawn. Poreč has its own schedule — and it’s better to arrive in time for it.
